The location in front of the lake was amazing. It was really peaceful and we really enjoyed the pool. A very nice hotel. You can see elephants from the pool most of the days and the staff is super friendly and helpful. A perfect place to relax.

This property is one of the few hotels with a great view for the amount you spend. It has a stunning lake view and is excellent for nature lovers. There were a lot of birds in the evening, and the sunset was magnificent. There is a nice pool to relax while watching the sunset and pool beds to relax if you need. It might not be the ideal location for luxury seekers, but it is excellent for any traveller who loves nature! Comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast. The manager and staff were really helpful, and I was happy to see a staff full of young blood! The manager said that the owners had changed recently, so hopefully, it will be even better when I visit the next time!

Really good location with splendid views of Bandiwewa. Staff is really friendly. Worth the money. Well maintained pool. Need some improvements. Some rooms are still under construction. They are operating after a long period of abundance. Good breakfast. Dinner menu was bit expensive, but they allowed to have outside food.

We arrived early enough in the morning and the room wasn't ready. But the guys got together and had a room ready for us very quickly ☺️. As we were travelling by TukTuk we were able to check in and leave our belongings. In the evening we had a lovely swim in the pool follow by tasty dinner and good few glasses of wine 🤣🤣 Highly recommend this place. Rooms are very spacious with beautiful view of the lake. And if you are lucky enough, you can see elephant walking by 😄

We had an elephant visit for three nights, and the owner Natasha and her team provided exceptional attention. Everything was clean and provided as needed. We attended a traditional dance in the garden, which boosted the local economy. The hotel also organizes boat routes with local fishermen. The pool was spotless, and the food was exquisite. Fantastic location. The hotel is mostly enclosed by the lake, making it look like you're on an island. Lots of animals visible. Savonds even once an elephant came to dinner right in front of our hotel room. Dinner at the hotel is fine. Staff are nice and helpful. My pool where it's fun to swim at sunset.

Great location and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Natasha explained a lot. In the evening, for a small price, a local dance group of girls from a dance school (not commercial and great opportunity for the students and guests), if desired by the guests, but you do not have to participate. And the elephant (or several) really comes by sometimes in the evening and in the morning. So close and so safe we were not an elephant during the whole trip!!! And the elephant was very relaxed and ate through the green along the property. One of the greatest experiences in Sri Lanka.
